ABOUT ME

I was born a storyteller.

From a young age I was creating my own books—writing epic adventure tales complete with illustrations. I directed plays with neighborhood kids in my basement, made videos on the home camcorder, and hosted my own radio show that I recorded in my room on a cassette deck. (I’m an 80s kid).

And I haven’t stopped.

From idea generation, to producing, and to arriving at the final product, I navigate highly collaborative teams through creative and logistical processes. My professional work in several media realms including creative strategy, film directing and production, podcast hosting and producing, interviewing, voiceover and creating innovative multi-sensory experiences have finessed my skills in digital and live media.

With a background in community integrated and interactive theatre, I am a master storyteller. For 16 years I worked as a leader, director, creator and producer in theater and live events. I know how to hold an audience and design memorable content.

Having been both a leader and artist, I have been on all sides of developing creative content. With 10 years of experience as the Artistic Director of Single Carrot Theatre in Baltimore, I am versed in both leading and collaborating across mediums, industries, and communities. I also bring 16 years of arts management experience with deep skills in team strategic planning, adaptive leadership, fundraising, marketing, non-profit finance, and budget management. I have also worked in international development in narrative change storytelling, capacity building, and financial management. My multi-faceted background allows me to navigate across sectors, mediums, and cultures in dynamic and creative ways.

I have a Master’s in Communications with a Specialization in Journalism Innovation from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. There, I honed my skills in audio & video, marketing & branding, social media management, SEO, data-driven content, and emerging technologies like generative A.I. and XR.

Okay, okay. Whew. In my leisure time, I am a parent, a traveler, an amateur gardener, a cook/foodie and I love a good TikTok.
